Our sustainability strategy forms the basis for our commitment in the areas of environmental, social and governance (ESG) and is based on eleven selected sustainable development goals (SDGs) of the United Nations. We focus on three key ESG areas in which we take our responsibility seriously and implement targeted measures to achieve global environmental and social goals. For effective management, we have set up an ESG committee made up of experts from various departments, which ensures the precise monitoring and continuous optimization of our sustainability strategies.

We invest specifically in sustainable assets because we place particular emphasis on supporting the economy in an environmentally friendly way and actively contributing to the battle against global warming. As buildings are responsible for 30% of carbon emissions and 40% of energy consumption worldwide, we focus on significantly reducing the carbon footprint, consistently lowering energy consumption and strengthening the resilience of our portfolio to climate risks.
