December is a time when children’s eyes light up with excitement, especially as they anticipate festive gifts. Unfortunately, this isn’t the reality for every child. Supernova understands the importance of ensuring that every child experiences the magic of the holiday season. This year, they joined the Trije zimski botri (Three Winter Guardians)project, which annually fulfills the holiday wishes of children from socially disadvantaged families.
With a generous donation of €10,000 in the form of Supernova Gift Cards, they are helping parents from these families create magical surprises for their children. The gift cards will be distributed by the Guardians to children and families facing financial challenges, giving them a chance to enjoy some peace and joy during the festive season. These gift cards can be used to purchase presents in 20 Supernova shopping centers across Slovenia.
“Every child deserves a gift that brings a smile to their face. We are delighted to be part of such a heartfelt project and to help spread joy and hope during the holidays,” shared the Supernova team. “We are aware that many children in Slovenia need a touch of magic during the holiday season. While it’s impossible to reach every child, we hope that, with our support, the Three Winter Guardians will bring happiness to as many families as possible.”
The Trije zimski botri project brightens the holidays for 1,700 to 2,000 children annually, who might otherwise go without festive gifts. In addition to donations from numerous partners, the project collects letters from children during the winter season, in which they share their wishes with the Guardians. These wishes are then fulfilled by generous donors with the help of the Three Winter Guardians.
