Project Description
Supernova Mercator Koper is located in Koper, right next to the highway, making it an ideal spot for quick weekly shopping trips. Situated on the outskirts of the industrial zone, it is just a few minutes from the center of Koper, the largest city on the Slovenian coast. The shopping center has been operating since 1998, offering a variety of stores, with 22 in total, including the large Mercator hypermarket. It features 264 parking spaces in the garage, along with 14 additional open-air spots.

Project Description
The Supernova Mercator Koper Photovoltaic System, implemented in 2024, is a solar energy project located on the roof of the Supernova shopping center in Koper. With an installed capacity of 450 kWp, it generates 537 kWh of clean energy annually and reduces CO2 emissions by 124 tons per year. This initiative highlights the Supernova Group’s commitment to sustainable energy practices and reducing environmental impact through renewable energy solutions.
