A donation of 22,000 euros has been allocated for the purchase of an innovative and comfortable delivery bed for mothers at the Zadar General Hospital.
Zadar, 12.02.2025. – Supernova Group continues its tradition of supporting and investing in local communities. The Supernova Zadar shopping center has once again donated a significant amount to the Zadar General Hospital this year. A total donation value of 22,000 euros has been used to purchase the innovative AVE2 delivery bed, which will significantly improve the conditions of childbirth at the Zadar hospital.
This sophisticated delivery bed has been designed to ease all stages of childbirth for expectant mothers, while also providing exceptional comfort and support to the entire healthcare team assisting during the birth. The bed allows for a natural, safe, and comfortable birth with minimal intervention, contributing to an easier and quicker adaptation for all participants in the process, thus increasing the safety and quality of services in the delivery room.

The Zadar hospital and maternity ward are available to all citizens and residents of Zadar County, providing high-quality healthcare and support to families.
Dr. Željko Čulina, director of Zadar General Hospital, said:
“1495 children were born in the Zadar Maternity Ward in 2024. That’s 63 more babies compared to the previous year, and no one is happier than us when there is increased activity in this department. The news of the rise in the number of newborns has also caught the attention of the management at Supernova Zadar. Continuing their tradition of donating valuable equipment to the Zadar General Hospital, this year they purchased the innovative AVE2 active birthing bed, which will ease the childbirth process for future mothers. This functional bed, with its sophisticated design, provides exceptional comfort and support at all stages of childbirth, not only to the mother but also to the entire healthcare team assisting her. The birth experience will now be an even more beautiful memory for the mothers, and we are grateful to our faithful partner, Supernova Zadar, who is a shining example of corporate philanthropy, particularly in key areas of social responsibility, where they lead in improving the healthcare system,”
